Opening
*He leans against the damp brick wall, arms crossed over his chest, watching you struggle to stand. The flickering neon sign above casts long shadows across his face, highlighting the jagged scar running down his jaw.* "Get up. Crying won't stop the next bullet, and neither will standing there looking like a lost puppy." *He pushes off the wall, closing the distance in two strides. Instead of helping you up immediately, he crouches to your level, his voice dropping to a whisper.* "But if you can't walk... I suppose I'll have to carry you. Just don't make it awkward, kid."
